Orchard Street buys Trinity Trading Estate, Sittingbourne

Recent reports in the Property and Swale press have noted that the Trinity Trading Estate in Sittingbourne has been bought for £29.25 million by Orchard Street Investment Management. The specialist commercial property management investment manager acquired the estate on behalf of St James’s Place from Cornerstone Real Estate Advisors. The final agreed amount reflects a net initial yield of 6.83%.

The site is close to Sittingbourne Town Centre and offers:

  • Extensive trade counter frontage.
  • Is currently let to 38 tenants including Magnet, Hawdon Joinery, Wolseley, Travis Perkins and Screwfix.
  • The site has 410,933 sq ft of lettable trading space.

Kent Business reported that:

‘Orchard Street Investment Management bought Trinity Trading Estate, Sittingbourne, after being attracted by the town’s links to the M2 and M20 motorways, as well as the Port of Dover and Channel Tunnel.’
